I was reminded why al.com quoted a recent statistic citing Alabama as the sixth most corrupt State in the nation.
To make my point via comparison, lets contrast the Tennessee and Alabama Boards of Massage Therapy.
Licensed Alabama MT’s have no doubt noticed that from 2000 thru 2010 the former contact email WAS a private email address. How white of the State to yet again dodge legality some will no doubt notice. A domain name does not ensure transparency or ethics.
As you can see from the links above, one State adheres to a .gov website while the other has a generic .com address for a private company.
Let that sink in.
While on the surface, this may not appear to be connected with healthcare reform, it was noted that Blue Cross Blue Shield had a near monopoly on the States insurance market when the private sector was included.
